Today we explored a stretch of the Kettle Valley Railway trail starting from Branburn Green RV Park and going north. The trail we walked was gravel and stroller friendly. My eldest was eager to keep up to the front of the group while I stayed back carrying my daughter in a beco carrier and pushing Teddy in the stroller. The trail was surrounded by flowing rabbit brush and sumac bushes. The children nibbled on dried sumac which has a citrusy flavour. Some large spongy mushrooms were harvested but not eaten and I picked up a couple pieces of volcanic rock to bring home.

<3 I love your photos. Just beautiful. What lens are you using most these days?
ReplyDeleteShe's using the Panasonic 50mm f/1.4 fixed lens for micro 4/3 cameras. It's a pretty nice lens and it pretty much never comes off the camera!
DeleteActually, it's a 25mm lens, just 50mm equivalent.
