Mardi Gras Masks for Children

Last night I made two Mardi Gras bird felt masks. I didn't used a pattern but these masks were an inspiration. I used a piece of paper to trace out the approximate distance between their eyes and measured the circumference of their heads. With a few cups and plates I traced the outline of the masks onto felt pieces and sewed the pieces together. The masks were a hit and my two little birdies immediately began building nests and laying eggs

We also made some paper masks (free printables) with sparkles. I rarely let my children use sparkles and now I remember why. Despite my efforts to contain them there are sparkles everywhere. At least they had fun.

    1. Thanks Elisa! Oh man! I don't know if I could open an Etsy shop. Seems like it'd be a lot of work.
