Last night I made two Mardi Gras bird felt masks. I didn't used a pattern but these masks were an inspiration. I used a piece of paper to trace out the approximate distance between their eyes and measured the circumference of their heads. With a few cups and plates I traced the outline of the masks onto felt pieces and sewed the pieces together. The masks were a hit and my two little birdies immediately began building nests and laying eggs.

ReplyDeleteI loooove these!! What a great idea. You are so talented. You could sell those in an Etsy shop and make a ton.
ReplyDeleteThanks Elisa! Oh man! I don't know if I could open an Etsy shop. Seems like it'd be a lot of work.
DeleteI love those felt masks! So creative and fun. I especially like the detail on the "feathers".
