Feast of All Saints

Today we celebrated the feast of All Saints. We kept celebrations very simple. We flipped through Ruth Sanderson's picture book More Saints. Monkey asked me what saints are and I answered him very simply "people that loved Jesus very much and were very good". Perhaps it's a little simplistic but he was satisfied with my answer.

I found a pack of Holy Traders tuck among my things from long ago and brought them out to show my children. Monkey picked out the cards that were related to knighthood: St. George, St. Joan of Arc, St. Thomas Becket. Sweetpea looked through the cards a little but was more interested in sorting and
putting them away.

Today also marks my blog's three year anniversary. My first post was about All Hallow's Eve. Sometime this month I will have a giveaway to celebrate this blog's third birthday. I just need to figure out what the giveaway will be first.
